2. General Information on Data Processing

We only process personal data of our users insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is carried out regularly only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of data is permitted by law.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These include: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing device, time of the server request, and IP address.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website).
Storage period: Server log files are automatically deleted after no more than 7 days.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

4. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

5. Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Storage period: Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been fully processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. The maximum retention period is 3 years after the last contact.

6. Contact Form Service Provider (Formspree)

For processing contact form enquiries, we use the service Formspree by Formspree Inc., 1840 Alcatraz Ave, Berkeley, CA 94703, USA. When you use our contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, phone number, message, and other form fields) is forwarded to us via Formspree's servers.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing enquiries).
Third-country transfer: Formspree Inc. is based in the USA. The data transfer is carried out on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Formspree is certified under the DPF and is therefore obliged to maintain an adequate level of data protection.
Storage period: The data will be deleted after the enquiry has been fully processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

7. Email Contact

If you contact us by email, the data you provide (email address, name, and phone number where applicable) will be stored by us in order to respond to your enquiry. Our email service is provided by Heinlein Hosting GmbH (mailbox.org).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR.
Storage period: After fulfilment of purpose, no later than 3 years after the last contact.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data processed by us:

Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — You may request information about your personal data processed by us.

Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — You may request the correction of inaccurate data.

Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — You may request the deletion of your stored personal data, provided there are no statutory retention obligations.

Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR) — You may request the restriction of data processing.

Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR) — You may object to the processing of your data at any time.

Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — You may request that your data be transmitted to you or a third party in a commonly used format.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

This website does not use cookies and does not employ any tracking technologies.

11. External Resources

This website uses the "Outfit" font. The font files are stored locally on our own server. No connection to external servers is established when loading the font. No data is transferred to third parties.
